Ingredients

3 hours
  1. 250 gramsbaby tomatoes
  2. 2TS red wine vinegar
  3. 2TS apple cider vinegar
  4. Salt flakes
  5. 1ts ginger powder
  6. 3shallots
  7. 3TS brown sugar
  8. 2TS honey
  9. 1TS Shiraz wine jelly (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash your tomatoes and cut them in half, thinly slice your shallots. Turn oven on 160 on fan. This will be slow cooked.

    In an oven dish add tomatoes and shallots. Now add the vinegars, ginger, salt, sugar, honey and mix well

  3. 3

    Add the wine jelly which is optional, and mix well.

    Place in the oven on low heat 160 celsius degrees and cook for 3 hours. After 2 hours take off the lid and continue cooking for an extra hour. In the end it will look like that. Let cool and place in the fridge.
