Ingredients

5 minutes
1 serving
  1. 1large russet potatoes peeled & cut in equal size fries
  2. 1 1/2 tablespoonshoney

Cooking Instructions

    Blend honey in 2-3 cups of hot water

  2. 2

    Cover & soak the peeled & cut fries 20 minutes in the blended water

  3. 3

    Drain & pat excess water off. (I use a salad spinner).

  4. 4

    Heat canola or other deep fry oil to 350°. 2 kernels of popcorn will pop at this temperature. (This is much more convenient than handling a thermometer).

  5. 5

    Deep fry to golden brown. (About 5 minutes).

  6. 6

    Season with salt to taste.

  7. 7

    Lightly dusk with taco seasoning for a pleasant surprise. (Optional)
