Latke Latke
I modified a recipe that was included in a JCCRI (a Rhode Island Jewish school) newsletter. Their version used a lot of oil to make a deep-fried styled of latke and used a lot of obscure Kosher seasonings that I omitted. I then reduced the amount of flour and added some grated potato. My daughter once attended an Israeli Jewish school for about a year. The curriculum is based around Jewish beliefs and practices, which were completely new to her. Out of the recipes that we were taught, this was my favourite. Recipe by Munchkin's Mom cookpad.japan -

Fluffy Chiffon Cake with Lots of Bananas Fluffy Chiffon Cake with Lots of Bananas
I made this to use up ripe bananas.-If you whip the meringue too much, it will become crumbly and will not not blend in well with the batter, so stop whipping when it becomes like the picture on Step 3. Don't forget to smooth out the meringue at Step 7!-If you don't have a blender, mash the banana finely using a fork and mix it well with the milk. Recipe by Puru berry cookpad.japan -
Vegan mashed potatoes and gravy Vegan mashed potatoes and gravy
It's Thanksgiving, so I figured I would share my favorite #vegan version of homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. It's simple to make and delicious comfort food. I will add photos when I make it later today :)I apologize that the quantities are very non-specific. This recipe is based on my mom's recipe, where you "just know" how much is enough. Everything is tailored to your liking--whether you like thick gravy or thin, lumpy potatoes or creamy, there is no way to go wrong here! Ann Jeffers -
