Vegetable Packed Okonomiyaki Vegetable Packed Okonomiyaki
This is a recipe proposed by the president of the Japan Flour Cooking Association, Mana Kumagaya! It's an "Okonomiyaki made easily in a frying pan." If you make okonomiyaki in a frying pan instead of a griddle, the clean up is easy. You can use kabocha squash instead of the potato and it will be delicious as well.Mix the added ingredients and batter together so as to incorporate lots of air in the batter.Cook this as soon as it's mixed up, before the vegetables start to exude moisture. Easy and Delicious! Kansai-style Fluffy Okonomiyaki Easy and Delicious! Kansai-style Fluffy Okonomiyaki
My husband, who's from Osaka, would always make these okonomiyaki without measuring the ingredients; but since I also wanted to make them, I put this recipe together. What makes this recipe unique is the juicy pork, which is lightly sautéed before adding to the batter. Even without tempura crumbs, the okonomiyaki turn out fluffy!People often say you need to press down on the pancakes while they're grilling, but with this recipe, you'll get a fluffy result either way. Gindaco-Style! Crispy and Fluffy Takoyaki (Flour-Based) Gindaco-Style! Crispy and Fluffy Takoyaki (Flour-Based)
I wanted to make even more delicious takoyaki! After repeated trial and error, I've recently settled on this method. They taste great even when cold, so make a big batch! The origin of this recipeAs I kept making my previous takoyaki recipe, the quantities and steps evolved, so I took notes.Adding skim milk or using milk instead of water enhances the richness and adds nutrition. There's also a technique of mixing aonori into the batter instead of using it as a topping. 白いエプロンのクマTranslated from Cookpad Japan -

South Korean Toast (To Commemorate The Visit Of The President Of South Korea) South Korean Toast (To Commemorate The Visit Of The President Of South Korea)
I love Korean toast, but the reality is that for a perpetual dieter like me, the sugar and oil in them is an issue. In South Korea the toast is becoming healthier every year due to the the increasing popularity of a healthy lifestyle.I'm sorry the recipe name is so exaggerated. I wanted to commemorate the visit to Japan by South Korean President Lee Myung-bak with something that I thought he might have liked when he used to be a regular salaryman. The ketchup and mayonnaise make this sandwich tasty enough, so you can skip the margarine if you like. I put some cheese in, but the sandwich is also great with tuna or ham. You can also just add some raw shredded vegetables instead of mixing them in. I think this sandwich is more authentic if you use a regular inexpensive sliced sandwich bread rather than a fancy expensive one.So many people have made their own delicious variations. Thank you so much. For 1 serving. Recipe by mikochang cookpad.japan -
Tofu and Cabbage Okonomiyaki Tofu and Cabbage Okonomiyaki
I wanted to make a healthy okonomiyaki. For best results, use a plate when flipping over since it falls apart easily. Even if it does fall apart, just gather everything together with a spatula and it should stick back together and turn out nicely. It's easier to make with a non-stick frying pan. For 1 servings.
