Ingredients

10 mins prep 30 mins cooking
4 servings
  1. 500 gpotato
  2. 1 kgcourgette or marrow
  3. Stock cubes or powder
  4. 1 bunchspring onions
  5. 100 gcheese
  6. Water

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Chop potatoes and put on to boil with stock, just enough water to cover potatoes

    Add courgette/marrow and cook until soft this maybe a while because there might not initially be enough water to cover the marrow but the marrow will release water as it cooks so that needs time to do so.

    Add spring onion and cook for another 5 mins

    Blend and add cheddar

  5. 5

    Add water and seasoning to achieve consistency and taste of choice. In this particular video I think it’s too watery, even with less than 500ml water to start so I’m leaving it to boil down for a bit.

I think you even go further than the 100g cheese I added here 😆 it seemed to thicken up when I let it rest too. But the marrow sure let’s put gallons as you cook it! Cheeky!
