Rice and beans with chicken and salad

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsRice
  2. 1 cupBeans
  3. 7 cupsWater
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. 1/2 cupVegetable oil
  6. 2 cupsChopped Salad
  7. 2big chopped tomatoes
  8. 1small onion bulb sliced
  9. Grilled chicken
  10. Dry pepper to your taste

Cooking Instructions

    Put a clean pot on fire and pour 2cups of water, allow it to come to a boil

    Wash your beans and add to the water and allow it to cook until soft

  3. 3

    Rinse and drain the beans and keep aside

  4. 4

    Put the same pot on fire add 4cups of water bring to a boil and add your washed rice and parboil it

  5. 5

    Wash the parboiled rice and mix with the beans

  6. 6

    Put the pot back on fire add a cup of water and 1tsp of salt bring to a boil

  7. 7

    Add in your rice and beans mix to combine with the salted water and allow to cook until the water drains up completely

  8. 8

    Put a small frying pan on fire add ½ cup of vegetable oil and sliced onion, allow to fry until the onion turns to golden brown

  9. 9

    Finally,serve your rice and beans with salad and chicken, to enjoy more you can add pepper to your taste.
