Ingredients

  1. 500 gramsfine couscous (about 3 1/4 cups)
  2. raisins
  3. olive oil
  4. 1 cupwater (240 ml)
  5. 1 cupmilk (240 ml)
  6. butter
  7. sugar or pure honey

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the couscous and let it drain. Toss it with olive oil, then steam it for the first time. Meanwhile, soak the raisins in water.

    After the couscous has steamed once, sprinkle it with 1 cup of water and let it absorb for about 10 minutes. Once absorbed, toss it again with olive oil. Place the soaked raisins in the bottom of the steamer, add the couscous on top, and steam for the second time.

    After the second steaming, sprinkle the couscous with 1 cup of milk and let it absorb. Then steam it for the third and final time. Once done, mix in butter and either pure honey or sugar before serving.
