Cooking Instructions

Peel potatoes, wash and slice thinly

Add potato slices to a bowl of very cold water; let it sit for at least 30mins

Pat dry soaked potato slices with paper towel/kitchen towel and transfer to another bowl

Sprinkle some salt on potato slices and toss
- 5
Heat oil and reduce the flame to low
- 6
Working in batches; fry potato slices until golden brown stirring continuously
- 7
Transfer to a tray lined with paper towel and allow it to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container

I added salt last, and it was nothing but a lump of salt in the end.I'm scared of flying hot oil, so I combined the oil and the sweet potato together.The oil doesn't have to be pre-warmed for you to be able to quick-fry.
