Ingredients

  1. 2Irish potatoes
  2. Pinchsalt
  3. Oil (for frying)

Cooking Instructions

    Peel potatoes, wash and slice thinly

  2. 2

    Add potato slices to a bowl of very cold water; let it sit for at least 30mins

  3. 3

    Pat dry soaked potato slices with paper towel/kitchen towel and transfer to another bowl

  4. 4

    Sprinkle some salt on potato slices and toss

  5. 5

    Heat oil and reduce the flame to low

  6. 6

    Working in batches; fry potato slices until golden brown stirring continuously

  7. 7

    Transfer to a tray lined with paper towel and allow it to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container
