Ingredients

  1. 3 cupswhite beans
  2. 3/4 poundfresh salt pork
  3. 1 tablespoonprepared mustard
  4. 1 teaspoonginger
  5. 2 tablespoonsmolasses
  6. Salt and black pepper to taste
  7. 1 tablespoonbrown sugar
  8. to taste Paprika
  9. to taste Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Soak beans overnight. Rinse,drain in morning. Cover with cold water,boil 15 minutes. Drain. Put beans in buttered baking dish; add other ingredients and sliced pork scaled. Place pork in with rind exposed. Cover with boiling water, bake 6 hours@ 250. Remove cover last 30 minutes to brown. Serve with chili sauce and brown bread.
