Fried Asparagus and Bacon

I had some bacon, but didn't want to go to the trouble of making bacon-wrapped asparagus, so I made something which was easy and quick.

It's very easy. Once you've turned the heat on, fry quickly so you don't fry it too much! The aromatic garlic and the umami of the bacon really bring out the tastiness of the asparagus. For 1-2 servings. Recipe by Tsubasa mama 115

Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchAsparagus
  2. 50 gramsBacon
  3. 1 cloveGarlic
  4. 1 tbspOlive oil
  5. 1Black pepper
  6. 1Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare the asparagus.

    Cut the bottom 1 cm off the stems and peel the bottom 10 cm.

    Finely chop the garlic, then cut the asparagus into strips.

  4. 4

    Finely slice the bacon.

  5. 5

    Put olive oil in a pan and add the garlic. Turn on the heat.

  6. 6

    When the garlic is aromatic, add the bacon and black pepper and fry.

  7. 7

    When the bacon starts to wilt, add the asparagus. Fry until it turns a nice green colour, and season with salt.

    All done.
