Pasta with garlic and parsley

#GlobalApron week 14 ingredient parsley

Ingredients

15 minutes
3-4 servings
  1. 1/2 poundlinguine
  2. 1/2 cupfresh parsley chopped
  3. 5-6garlic cloves minced
  4. 1/2 cupfreshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  5. Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  6. Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  7. 2 tablespoonsolive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Cook pasta per directions. Save a cup of pasta water when draining.

    In medium sauce pan heat olive oil and sauté garlic over medium heat. Add salt, pepper and pepper flakes cook additional 2-3 minutes.

    Add parsley and pasta to pan. Add some pasta water and a splash of olive oil. Toss all ingredients throughly. Add Parmigiano Reggiano, mix again. Plate and serve.
