Ingredients

Serves 5 servings
  1. 1small package dried wood ear mushrooms
  2. 1/3carrot
  3. Shiitake mushrooms, as needed
  4. 7 oz (200 g)pork, cut into thin strips
  5. 2small packages pork blood (optional, or substitute with firm tofu if unavailable)
  6. 1 packagesilken tofu
  7. 1 packageenoki mushrooms
  8. 2green onions
  9. 1/2 cupwhite vinegar (120 ml)
  10. 2 cupsblack vinegar (480 ml)
  11. 1bird’s eye chili pepper
  12. Black pepper, to taste
  13. Salt, to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare and slice all the ingredients.

    Sauté the shiitake mushrooms, pork strips, carrot, wood ear mushrooms, and enoki mushrooms until fragrant.

    In a separate pot, bring broth to a simmer and cook the pork blood and tofu.

    Add the chili pepper to the sautéed mixture and continue to stir-fry. Pour in the black vinegar and white vinegar.

    Transfer the sautéed ingredients into the hot broth. Simmer and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more black pepper if desired.

    Finish by adding chopped green onions. Your soup is ready!
