  1. 12 ouncesground bison/buffalo
  2. 1 cupdiced onions
  3. 2 poundyellow gold potatoes
  4. 1 teaspoonground cardamom
  5. 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  6. 1 teaspoonsalt
  7. 1 teaspoonground black pepper
  8. 2 tablespoonextra virgin olive oil

Cooking Instructions

30-40 mins
  1. 1

    Brown the bison. Peel and cut the potatoes like homefries. Which are rough cut rectangular shaped potatoes. Like short French fries. Rinse and pat dry.

    Add the olive oil, potatoes, onions, and spices, to the bison. Sauté stirring occasionally and cover. Continue this way till the potatoes are fork tender.

    Allow to rest,10 minutes. Serve. I hope you enjoy!!!

Interesting recipe. Thanks for sharing it. What does bison/buffalo meat taste like? Are they bred on ranches in Florida or is the meat imported?
