I adapted this recipe from a regular sugar cookie and transformed it into a delicious lemon sugar cookie recipe! They get crispy while a bit soft at the same time. They melt in your mouth releasing an explosion of flavors. You won't be able to feel the lard flavor, because it will fade away after it's cooked, however you can still substitute it for butter if you prefer.

They’re sold at grocery stores as well as large retailers like Target or Walmart and are instantly recognizable in their clear plastic containers. They are soft, sweet, and have a loooong list of ingredients including several stabilizers, preservatives, and artificial colors.
