Ingredients

5 jars
  1. 5large jars 46 ounce each sterilized
  2. as neededCucumbers pickling sized
  3. 2-1/2 quartswhite distilled vinegar
  4. 1-1/2 quartswater
  5. 2 cupsugar
  6. 2 cupmaple syrup
  7. 1 tablespoonground cinnamon
  8. 1/2 teaspoonground cloves
  9. 1 cupkosher salt
  10. 1 tablespoonkosher salt
  11. 1-2/3 cuppacked dark brown sugar
  12. 5 leafBay leaf
  13. 1/2 teaspooncoriander seeds
  14. 1 tablespoonyellow mustard seeds
  15. 5 tablespoonkosher salt

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the water, vinegar, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup salt, dark brown sugar, syrup, and dark brown sugar.

    Boil and add cinnamon and cloves.

    Pack jar with Cucumber add mustard seeds, bay leaf, and tablespoon kosher salt to each jar, then pour the solution into the jar filling each one and put lid on each jar.

    Let the jars cool and seal. Set in a cool dark place for 6 weeks. Then they should be cured.
