Dump Cake

When my mom had her first taste of dump cake, it was over. She kept making it all throughout my childhood. Now, I make dumpcakes for my adult kids and husband. I've made every flavor I can think of and made one that was 1/2 one flavor & 1/2 another flavor. Even added pineapple chunks (without the juice of course).

Ingredients

  1. 1 canCrushed pineapple
  2. 1 canpie filling, any kind
  3. 1 boxYellow Cake Mix
  4. 1/2 stickUnsalted Butter, cut into pieces

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Open can of crushed pineapple (juice and all) and dump into 9x13 baking dish.

    Open can of pie filling and dump on top of pineapple.

  3. 3

    Open yellow cake mix and put on top of that.

  4. 4

    Add dollops of butter to top of cake mix.

  5. 5

    Bake 400° for 45-50 min or until golden brown on top.
