Ingredients

  1. 1frozen deep dish pie crust
  2. Filling
  3. 3Jonagold apples (cored, peeled and sliced into 1/4" wedges)
  4. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  5. 2 tbspap flour
  6. 1 1/4 tspground cinnamon
  7. 1/2 tspground allspice
  8. 1 tspvanilla extract
  9. Topping
  10. 1 1/4 cupap flour
  11. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  12. 1 1/2 tspground cinnamon
  13. 1/4 tspground nutmeg
  14. 1/4 tspsalt
  15. 1/2 cupbutter (melted and cooled)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 425°

    Combine all Filling ingredients & let sit for 10 minutes

  3. 3

    Whisk together all dry ingredients of Topping; pour butter over mixture & stir until blended

  4. 4

    Pour apple mixture into pie crust (may be heaping) & cover with crumble topping

  5. 5

    Bake for 20 minutes; reduce heat to 375° and bake for 40 more minutes (cover with foil loosely halfway through to prevent topping from burning)

  6. 6

    Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving
