Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2 tspgarlic powder (add as litte or as much as you prefer)
  2. 1 pinchsalt
  3. 4 tbspolive oil
  4. 2 tbspbutter
  5. 1 1/2 kgPrawns (shrimp)
  6. 2 tbspwhiskey
  7. 1 tspfresh lemon juice
  8. 1 handful parsley, chopped finely (added about 3 tablespoons but you can add as much as you want)
  9. 1/2 tsphot sauce, chilli oil or fresh chilli's (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the olive oil and butter in a frying pan on a medium heat.

    Add the prawns, garlic powder, hot sauce and salt. Cook for about a minute stirring often.

  3. 3

    Add the whiskey and lemon juice and cook for a further minute or so.

  4. 4

    Then add the parsley and cook for about 2 minutes or until the prawns are done.

  5. 5

    Check seasoning.

  6. 6

    Serve immediately with bread.
