Got bored one night and decided to experiment with different spices in my beef and potato soup. Had no clue that celery seed and that smoke flavor would create that "zing" I was looking for. And now you can try it for yourself to see what I'm talkin' 'bout.

Got bored one night and decided to experiment with different spices in my beef and potato soup. Had no clue that celery seed and that smoke flavor would create that "zing" I was looking for. And now you can try it for yourself to see what I'm talkin' 'bout.

Ingredients

  1. Beef and Taters
  2. 1 1/2 lbbeef stew or your favorite cut
  3. 2russet potatoes
  4. Juice
  5. 5 cupbeef broth
  6. 4 tspliquid smoke flavor
  7. Spices
  8. 5 tbspcelery seed
  9. 10 tbspgarlic powder
  10. 5 tbsppaprika
  11. 3 tbspground parsley

Cooking Instructions

    Lightly stir-fry beef stew until medium rare (should take about 4 minutes).

    Dice your russet potatoes into 1/2 square inch cubes and stir-fry for 1 minute.

    Place beef and potatoes in crock pot and pour your liquids (broth and liquid smoke) into the same pot. Let it sit for roughly 8 minutes.

    Add spices to the mix, stir around, and set the crock pot temperature to 180°F. Let sit for 4 and a half hours.
