Ingredients

  1. 1 cupGram flour/besan
  2. 1 cupCurd
  3. 2 cupWater
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  6. 1 tspGinger and green chilli paste
  7. 1 tbspFinely chopped coriander leaves
  8. Anardana - for garnishing
  9. 1 tspRai/black mustard seeds
  10. For tempering
  11. 1 tspOil

Cooking Instructions

    Take a large bowl add gram flour,curd,salt,turmeric powder,green chilli and ginger paste and water and mix well.

    Heat heavy bottom vessel and add the khandvi batter,stir continuously for 8 - 10 mins till thick.

    Turn off the flame,and spread the batter in the back side of the plate.

    Once cooled,cut into equal size strips and roll it tightly.

    Heat oil in a pan,add rai/black mustard seeds and let it splutter.

  6. 6

    Switch off the flame and pour on the khandvi

  7. 7

    Garnish with coriander leaves and anardana
