Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cupsmilk 2 1/4tsp yeast 2eggs 8tbsp butter
  2. 1/3 cupsugar
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 4 1/4 cupsflour, plus more for rolling out the dough
  5. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the milk until warm but not hot,in a large bowl, combine it with the yeast.Stir lightly, beat the eggs,butter,sugar and salt into the yeast mixture.

    Add half of the flour(2cups)and mix until combined,then mix in the rest of the flour until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Add more a flour about 2tbsp at a time, if the dough is too wet.

    Knead the dough until smooth. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface,and roll it to 2inch thickness, cut out the doughnuts with a doughnut cutter. Cover and let it rise for 45mins. Heat up the oil and carefully add the doughnuts to the oil,when the bottoms are deep golden brown after 45sec-1min flip the other side till golden brown.
