Coke-ade

Made this cake for Valentine day and right now it is my favourite. The spread is my home made strawberry jam.

1 cup of Coca Cola (the real thing, not the diet)½ cupIn a saucepan, mix Coca Cola, oil, butter, cocoa and bring to a boil. In another bowl, mix the sugar, flour and salt. Pour the boiling Cola mixture over the flour mixture and beat well. Add the eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla and beat well. Pour the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan and bake at 180 degrees 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from pan. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before decoratingIcing: In a saucepan, mix the butter, cocoa and milk until the butter is melted. Whisk the remaining ingredients and spread over cake while the icing is still warm.
