Simple soft butter cookies

But how relaxing is it to make cookies at home with the little helper? We like it so much; this time it was the butter biscuits (recipe taken from my new book "Christmas Sweets") to which I made some small changes and covered some with chocolate, others with cinnamon powder and others with cane sugar 😀 Simple and quick to to prepare, butter biscuits are excellent for breakfast or as a snack, they can be kept for a few days in a tin box 😉

I grew up with quite a few Italian bakeries around town. I've searched for ten years for a recipe. Found it on pinterest! Now I'm on a search for the colored ones with the sprinkles on them. I don't know what they're called though. : )

You can do variations of cookies with this recipe like adding in chocolate chips or a Hershey kiss on top after you remove them from the oven. You can get creative with it!

The cookies are crunchy on the outside and flaky on the inside with salted creaminess. Enjoy it with your friends or family as I assure you it is the easiest and (slightly) healthy butter cookies haha. You can also adjust the ingredients to your likings..(eg.
