Ingredients

  1. For Dough
  2. 1 cupwhole wheat chapati flour
  3. 1 cupall purpose flour
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 2 TbspOil
  6. 1 cupwarm water
  7. For Stuffing
  8. 1medium size carrot grated
  9. 1medium size Beetroot grated
  10. 1medium size green bell pepper grated
  11. 1/2 cupfresh coriander leaves
  12. 1 Tbspginger - chili paste
  13. to tasteSalt and pepper
  14. 1 Tbspdry mango powder
  15. 1 Tbspkitchen king masala(can get from any Indian supermarket,,,, or you can add your own taste of masala)
  16. For Garnish
  17. Mozzarella cheese grated
  18. Tomato sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Mix ingredients for dough in a mixing bowl and make a soft dough using warm water

  2. 2

    Cover and rest the dough for half an hour... mix ingredients for stuffing

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into 3-4 rounds,,,, now take 1 round,,, roll out medium size chapati > take 1 part of the stuffing and put it on to middle of the chapati and close the chapati and make a round ball, press little and roll out again. Prepare other dough rounds in similar way.

    Now heat a pan and cook chapatis with mixture of oil and ghee,, both side on slow to medium flame as vegetables filling inside will take time to cook.

    Now for garnish> put chapati into serving plate, cut it with pizza cutter into 8 pieces, open all the pieces like flower petals and garnish with grated mozzarella cheese and drizzle tomato sauce,, serve hot.
