Cooking Instructions

Boil 1 cup dates with 1 cup water till the dates are soft and puply about 2 - 3 minutes.blend into a smooth paste.set aside to cool down completely.

Beet together butter and sugar till light and fluffy.add the dates paste and mix well.sift together baking powder, baking soda with all purpose flour.

And this flour to the dates batter little by little.gently fold in with a spatula.mix in the vanilla essence and chopped the dates.transfer this batter to a greased cake pan.

Bake in a preheated oven of 180 c for about 40-50 minutes till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.ready 2 yummy cake and garnish for some almonds, tutti frutti 👍
