Mash the tape and remove the core.

Add granulated sugar and sweetened condensed milk. If it's still a bit soft, add all-purpose flour.

Take 1 piece of gabin, add 50 g of the tape mixture, then cover with another piece of gabin. Seal and tidy up the edges.

Prepare a pan with enough oil. Heat over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the gabin. Fry for a few minutes, then flip. (Only flip once to avoid absorbing too much oil).

Once golden brown, remove immediately.

Note: - The amount of sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and flour is optional. Adjust according to the tape you have and your taste, okay.

No need to coat with beaten egg, as long as the tape mixture is not too soft and the oil is hot enough when frying, the filling will stay intact.

Really, don't flip it back and forth when frying, so it doesn't absorb too much oil, and the gabin will stay crispy. After removing from the pan, drain immediately or pat with a tissue.
