Burgers patties in spicy tomato sauce
Steps
- 1
Mix the mincemeat, finely diced onions, egg, black pepper and salt. Once completely mixed in, mould the mix into burger patty shapes and add to a pan with a little heated oil. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side then set them aside to make the sauce.
- 2
For the sauce, I used the same pan I used for the patties. To the oil left there add the minced garlic and fry until fragrant. Add the tomatoes and let it boil until it starts to thicken. Add the rest of the ingredients and keep stirring until it is thick enough.
- 3
Add the burger patties and cheese slices then cover and let them warm up. Add the patties to your burger buns and serve with fries, wedges or roast potatoes.
