A nice and easy dessert to have with custard or ice cream
Steps

Preheat the oven to gas 4 / 180C / 350F and line a roasting tin with parchment paper

Remove the stone from each plum by halving them first, then quarter them when the stone is out. Place in a bowl

Mix the sugar and cinnamon in another bowl
- 4
Pour over the plums, add the apple juice and mix gently
- 5
Spread out on the oven tray and bake for 15 minutes, stir gently then continue to bake a further 10 - 15 minutes

Enjoy warm with ice cream, custard, rice pudding or fill into a prebaked tart shell. The syrup will thicken upon standing. You can also pour the hot mixture into a sterilised jar and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
