Dhokla is very staple cuisine of gujrat . I have added beetroot to this recipe and make it more healthy . I have made it in idli moulds to give them a diffrent shape .

Dhokla is very staple cuisine of gujrat . I have added beetroot to this recipe and make it more healthy . I have made it in idli moulds to give them a diffrent shape .
Steps

First in a bowl take gram flour,add thick curd and semolina. Mix well. Now add some water to make thick batter. Now add ginger,green chilli paste,grated beetroot,turmeric powder, 1tsp oil and salt as per taste. Mix all ingredients well.

Great idli mould well. Now add lemon juice and eno salt to the batter and mix well. Immediately pour into idli moulds. Steam it for about 15 minutes.let ot cool.and demould.

For tempring - take a pan add 2 tap oil,add mustard seeds,curry leaves and aplog green chilli. Turn off the gas and pour it on dhokla pieces. Beetroot dhokla is ready. Serve hot with chutney.
