Potato in Mustard Gravy

In a bowl/plate, take potato slices, a bit of salt, a pinch of turmeric powder and 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste and coat it well over potatoes.

Meanwhile, heat 1/4 cup of oil in a wok and fry these potatoes in it until it gets nice light golden colour.

Now heat a tablespoon of oil in wok, add black mustard seeds and asafoetida in it and allow it to crackle.

Now add yellow mustard paste, all spices and salt in it and cook it on low flame.

Now add curd in it and cook it until spices mix starts leaving sides of the wok.

Now add water in it as per the requirement and bring it to a boil.

Then add fried potato slices in it cook it for 5-7 minutes and switch off the flame.

Potato in mustard gravy is ready to serve now.
