Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  • 1big eggplant
  • Green masala to be applied on the eggplant slices:
  • 1 cupfresh coriander leaves
  • 5garlic cloves
  • 1" piece of ginger
  • 2green chillies
  • 1 tspwhole coriander seeds
  • 2 tbspraw mango
  • Other dry spices powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcoriander seeds powder
  • 1 tspkashmiri chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • Other ingredients:
  • As neededOil
  • As neededSemolina
  • 1 tsplemon juice

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Take the eggplant and cut into slices. Put cuts into it and keep them aside.

    Make green masala paste using all the ingredients for the paste.

    To the ready green paste add all the dry spices powder to it and mix well.

    Apply the paste on both sides of the eggplant slices and keep it aside for some time to get marinated!

    Shallow fry them in oil on both the sides in a fry pan by applying semolina.

    When cooked properly from both sides the baingan bhaja are ready to serve.
