The word Spinach whenever comes to my mind Jst 2 memories of childhood recalls one is Palak pakora (made by grandma Bcz it’s my grandpa’s favourite,May Allah grant highest rank in Janat ul Firdous to both, Ameen ) & another is Popeye the sailor ⚓️
But few years ago I Hv some health issues then I try my best to add spinach in my diet
Especially in Breakfast in form of Smoothie

Some benefits of spainch
Spinach is also an excellent sauce of vitamin Ke, vitamin A, vitamin C and folate as well as being a good sauce of manganese, magnesium, iron and vitamin B2. Vitamin Ke is important for maintaining bone health and it is difficult to find vegetables richer in vitamin Ke than spinach.
Now comes to the recipe
I always try to feed veggies in different form to my family. As my Husband is Meat & desi food lover
So this dish fulfilled both criteria

Steps

Firstly marinate meat for 1/2 an hour to overnight. Wash and cut Spinach, set aside. Blend tomatoes, set aside

Heat oil add cinnamon stick with onion, fry till golden brown. Add green chilli, ginger garlic paste & cardamom, then add blended tomatoes with crushed chilli,cumin, coriander & turmeric powder. Bhonofy

After few minutes, add marinated meat, mix it well then add yogurt, fry until well coated.

Add spinach with a glass of water, mix it well, cover & cook on medium heat until meat more than half done.

Add potatoes & Salt, continue simmering

When ready, bhonofy for a minute on high heat. Lastly add garam masla & kasuri meethi. Cover & turn off the stove.

Serve hot with chapati, garnish with lemon & fresh coriander leaves.
