Wash and Soak rice for 1/2 an hour.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Grate tomato and add in this mixture and sauté. Add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and rice and stir thoroughly. Mix cardamom, loung and black pepper seeds.

Stir the mixture and add 1 and 1/2 bowl water and stir. Place the lid and pressure cook till first whistle. Switch off the flame.

Allow the pressure to release naturally.

Serve hot with pickle and salad
