Fusilli with Sausage in Alaskan Crab Cream Soup Sauce

I couldn't resist any longer; I really wanted to eat fusilli. So, I went out and bought some! This dish is a bit of an adaptation. Normally, ready-made crab soup is eaten as a soup, but I tried using it to make a dry pasta dish. The soup is mixed with fusilli, sausage, and broccoli, and it works well! It's a new dish added to our home menu. We focus on using ingredients available in the fridge, so it might seem a bit unusual or mismatched, but it's delicious! Every plate is finished, haha!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients. Today, I'm using Lady Anna brand ready-made Alaskan crab cream soup. I bought it to eat as soup, but since I had one pack left, I decided to make a dry pasta dish. Cut and wash the broccoli, then drain and set aside. Cut the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Fill half a pot with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Once it starts bubbling, add olive oil and coarse salt. When the water is boiling vigorously, add the fusilli. The package says to boil for 8 minutes or until cooked, but I found it still too firm, so I ended up boiling it for 14 minutes.
- 3
With 1 minute left, add the broccoli to blanch with the pasta. After 14 minutes, drain the water and set the pasta and broccoli aside for stir-frying.
- 4
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add 200 milliliters of water and bring to a boil. Dissolve the crab soup in the water, stirring to combine.
- 5
Once the soup starts boiling, add the sausage and stir-fry.
- 6
Add the broccoli, fusilli, and dried chilies. Stir everything together. Taste and adjust the seasoning as desired. I only added a little salt, but you can adjust to your liking.
- 7
Turn off the heat and serve on a plate.

Cheese Cream Soup Pasta Cheese Cream Soup Pasta
There's a spaghetti soup dish served at pasta restaurant chain called Goemon in Japan. I saw on TV that the secret ingredient was miso, and wondered if I could easily make this at home. I gave it a shot using what was in the refrigerator. If you don't have a 800 W microwave, then increase the microwave time while observing carefully. Heat it for about 2 minutes if the setting is at 600 W. Since you will be simmering the vegetables later you don't need to fully cook them through. Use whatever you have left in your refrigerator for the vegetables, such as carrots and cabbage. I also think it would go well with seafood such as salmon and scallops.
