Ingredients

  • 1Beetroot (Boiled)
  • 1/4 CupGram Flour
  • 1/4 CupCorn Flour
  • 1Onion (Chopped)
  • 1/2Tomato (Chopped)
  • 1 TspCoriander Leaves
  • 1/4 TspCumin Seeds
  • 2 TspOil
  • as neededWater
  • 1 PinchAsafoetida
  • 1/4 TspTurmeric Powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all take boiled beetroot in plate and peeled of it's skin and make small pieces and transfer them into blender jar.

    Make a fine paste of beetroot pieces.

    Now in another bowl take gram flour,corn flour and add turmeric powder,asafoetida,chopped coriander leaves,cumin seeds,oil,beetroot paste, salt and mix them well.

    Now add water as per requirement and prepare a smooth batter.

    Heat up a pan add oil and add batter over it and make heart shape add some chopped onion and coriander leaves cover with lead and cook it for few seconds.

    Flip the side and cook from other side as well.

  7. 7

    Beetroot hearts are ready.Serve with mint chutney.
