Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 12-13medium size sliced tomatoes
  2. 200 gramsJaggery or gud
  3. 1.5 tspPanch Phoron
  4. 1/4 cupCurry Leaves
  5. 1.5 inchGrated mango ginger
  6. 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  7. 1/4 cupRaisins
  8. 1/4 tspRed Chilli Powder
  9. 1/4 tspCumin Powder
  10. 1/4 tspSalt
  11. 1/4 cupCashew Nuts
  12. 3 tbspRefined Oil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat pan & add refined oil.

    Then add panch phoron, curry leaves, grated mango ginger.

    Saute it for one minute.

    Then add sliced tomatoes, turmeric powder & salt.

    Mix it well. Cook for 5 minutes (low flame). Stir occasionally.

    After 5 minutes add cashew nuts, raisins & jaggery. Mix it well.

    Cook till it becomes soft properly. Stir occasionally.

    Add red chilli powder & cumin powder. Switch off the flame. Now ready to serve.
