Daal chawal is mostly everyones favourite .I can eat daal chawal everyday .I love all kind of lentil but Malka Masoor or kali daal is my and my family's favourite .Lentils are high in protein and very healthy.

In a presure cooker put daal and water above the level of daal

Add Red chillie powder to daal and let it boil

When boil and daal gets done then add salt to it

For tarka take a pan put oil half cup add red button chillies and garlic cloves chopped and cooked on slow flame till garlic cloves become brown

Then add cumin to it and cook for 2 mins.We put cumin lastly because it didn't get burn't

Then put tarka over daal

Mouthwatering Daal chawal ready

Serve with Rice and Kachomar Salad
