Chana daal mix veggies pulav

Soak chana daal for 2 hours. Drain the water and wash it again. Take rice and wash it.

Now, wash and clean the vegetables and cut them as mentioned in ingredient list.

Now, heat oil in pressure cooker and fry potatoes pieces until they turn golden and soft and take them out of the oil.

Now, add all the vegetables in oil and let them saute for a while. Now add red chilli sauce, red chilli powder, salt and pepper, cumin seeds and mix well. Let everything cook well.

Now add chana daal and rice and enough water (approx 2 glasses). Let it boil and cover the lid of the pressure cooker. After 1 whistle, keep the flame on law and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. The fragrant pulav is ready. Serve with papad or riata or sweet curd.
