Wash and clean the gourd and grate it. Take out grated gourd in a vessel. Press the gourd and take out it's juice. Now in this gourd, add 3/4 cup of gram flour, 1 green chilli, 1/2 tsp ginger paste, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, less than 1/2 tsp Add salt, 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds and a little green coriander and mix well. Keep the mixture for 10 minutes so that the gram flour puff up. Add more besan if required.

To fry the koftas, put oil in a pan and heat it. take a little mixture from the batter and put it in the pan. Put 4-5 koftas or as many koftas in a pan as possible. For frying the koftas, the oil should be medium hot and keep the flame medium. Flip and fry the koftas till they turn brown. Take out the fried koftas in a plate. Likewise fry all the koftas. Koftas are ready for the vegetable.

To make Kofta gravy, heat 2 tablespoons oil in the pan. Add 1/2 tsp cumin,bay leaves, asafoetida,and coriander seeds, clove. When it starts crackling Add 1/2 tsp ginger paste. Add 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and fry it lightly. Now add onion paste and red chilli powder and fry the spices till the oil starts on top of the masala.

Add the tomato paste and fry very well, add curd and fry 2 minutes.

Now add water according to how thick or thin you want the gravy and mix it. Now add salt, garam masala, green coriander bottle gourd juice and mix. Cover the gravy and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. After 4 minutes gravy is ready, add koftas and mix it. Now cover it again and let it cook for 3-4 minutes and check again. Now is ready.

Take it out in a bowl, put green coriander in the vegetable and serve with hot chapati.
