Cinnamon roll french toast

As my favourite cafés are closed due to partial-lockdown and their delivery menu doesn’t always include cinnamon rolls, I decided to make my own. Since I don’t have proper baking equipments (oven, etc.) so I tried to improvise a non-complicated recipe; dupe that only requires a pan.

Steps
- 1
Cut the crusts (if any) then flatten the bread; either with rolling pin or just press them using anything.
- 2
Heat the butter in a small pan. Once melted, either turn off the heat or put it low, then add sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.
- 3
Remove from heat then spread the filling on the bread, then roll them. Tastes better if you leave them in fridge overnight as the bread is hardened a bit but can go to the next step right away.
- 4
Mix egg and milk (can add cinnamon powder or cheese into the mixture), then put rolled breads into the batter. Spray oil/butter on pan, then cook the battered roll in low heat for less than 5 minutes until it's golden brown.
- 5
Put on plates, can add cream cheese for topping.
