A very famous sweet dish of Bengal. It is nothing but chana coated in sugar syrup. The outer crust is hard bcoz of sugar coating and inside it is soft.

First take the milk add lemon and make the chana. Now take a muslin cloth put the chana through it. Now put something heavy on it so the excess water is drain. Keep it for 2-3 hrs for best results. When done cut them into small cubes of the same size. Now make the sugar syrup add kesar and elachi powder

When the sugar syrup becomes a bit dripping consistency add the pcs of chana and keep on stiring. When the syrup becomes thick. And the colour becomes a bit haze. Then switch off the gas. Keep stiring.

Now keep on stiring with light hand by a spoon. As the sugar cool it gets coated on the panner. At the end remove the excess sugar from the panner. The excess sugar will be in the pan.
