To prepare sugar syrup in a pan, pour 1.5 cup of milk and sugar. Heat it till sugar dissolve. Then add cardamom powder and saffron. Heat it over low flame for few minutes. Cover the pan and keep aside. Consistency will be thin.

In another pan, heat oil for frying.

Take bread slices and remove edges and cut then in triangular shape.

Once oil is hot turn flame to medium low and fry bread pieces till it turns golden. Don’t let them brown.

Allow them to cool for few minutes. Then add them one by one in sugar syrup prepared above. Allow them to soak in for few seconds. Arrange them in a plate.

To prepare Rabri : take 1 litre of milk in a pan and boil it till it is reduced to 1/3 of it's volume. Now add the left over sugar syrup from above step and 2 slice of bread in it. Blend it and check for sweetness. More sugar can be added according to taste.

Pour Rabri over bread and chill them in refrigerator. Garnish them with dry fruits of your choice before serving.
