Prepare the ingredients

Put the banana, date, and protein powder into a blender. I use plant-based protein powder but feel free to use any kind of protein powder like whey or soy.

Add the milk and salt. Blend it all together

Serve on a bowl and add the topping of your choice. I use cinnamon-flavored granola mix. It contains granola, raisin, and cashew

This one is by far the best I have made yet!Makes 1 16oz Smoothie*The Nutmeal Mixture is something I made for that extra goodness punch.It is:1/2cup Roasted Cashews (No salt)1/2cup Walnut halves & Pieces1/2cup Whole Natural Almonds1/2cup Steel Cut OatsBlend all ingredients (it will cake up so it takes a few tries)This makes 2 cups of the mixture and I add 1/4cup to the smoothie after all other ingredients are blended and reblend together.*Tip- Pre-portion fruit and veggie ingredients in freezer bags and store in freezer for quicker breakfasts CookingWithCuda -
