Ingredients

  • 1/2onion
  • 2bagels
  • 1 handfulspinach, roughly chopped
  • 2 tspMustard
  • 3 slicesAmerican cheese
  • 4breakfast sausages, casings removed
  • 1 tspvegetable oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Slice the onion, fry it in the oil. Scoop in a slotted spoon and set aside once golden on a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Mold the sausage meat into two bagel-shaped forms. Pan fry in the onion oil.

  3. 3

    Toast the bagels lightly

  4. 4

    Add mustard and spinach to one half of the bagel, and mustard and onions to the other half. Top both with a thin layer of cheese. Broil until cheese is melted.

    Add sausage ring, squish sandwich together, and enjoy!
