Turai is a vegetable that absorbs all the flavours and makes it delicious . This is a very simple dish wonderfully seasoned but not spicy and tomato adds a wonderful taste.

Turai is a vegetable that absorbs all the flavours and makes it delicious . This is a very simple dish wonderfully seasoned but not spicy and tomato adds a wonderful taste.

Wash and peel the turai and chop it finely & keep it in a bowl. Peel and cut the potato into cube and keep in water.

Heat oil in a kadai add jeera and methi dana when methi turns golden add the sliced onions cook till translucent
- 3
Add the turai and potatoes and stir it well on high flame do not add water as turai will release a lot of water cover and cook for 5 mins

Then add coriander powder, haldi powder, jeera powder, kashmiri chilli powder,salt,tomato and curry leaves. Cover and cook on medium flame till it's semi dry. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
