Ingredients

5 people
  1. For pressure cook:
  2. 1 CupChole
  3. 5Cardmom
  4. 5Black pepper
  5. 2Cinnamon sticks
  6. 5Clove
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 5 cupWater
  9. 2Tea bag
  10. For Chole :,
  11. 1cup onion grated
  12. 1 cupTomato grated
  13. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  14. 1Green chillies
  15. 1 tbspRed chillies powder
  16. 1 tspTurmeric
  17. As neededOil
  18. to tasteSalt
  19. For Kulche :
  20. 4 cups all-purpose flour
  21. 1 cupCurd
  22. 2 tbspBaking powder
  23. 1 tbspBaking soda
  24. as required Water
  25. 2 tbspSugar
  26. as per tasteSalt
  27. as requiredOil or ghee
  28. As per requirementExtra flour for dusting
  29. 1 tspKalongi
  30. 1 tspCoriander

Steps

    Soak chole in enough water for whole night or 4-5hours

  2. 2

    Now pressure cook the choke add chole, amd make a potli of tea, cinnamon sticks, black pepper and cloves. Give 4 - 5 whistle.

    Add oil to kdai and now put cumin and asfotida now add ginger garlic paste then green chillies and then add grated onion and cook to the brown color.

    Now add tomatoes and cook till oil separate then add all the spices to greavy and now add chole and boil for 5 to 6 minutes.

    Chole is ready to serve

    Kylchas: mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

    Make a well in the centre add curd oil and water

  8. 8

    Make a smooth dough and keep aside for 2 hours.

  9. 9

    Make small ball of dough. Sprinkle some kalongi amd coriander on the ball

  10. 10

    With thd rolling pin flatten the dough in small kulcha.

  11. 11

    Now heat the tawa and put some water on one side of kulcha and place it on tawa.

    Now flip it from other side.

    Make it crispy from both side

  14. 14

    Now kulchas are ready to serve.

    Serve with hot chole and some onion and pickle and some raita.
