Soak the daal for 5-6 hours or overnight. Now grind the daal in a mixer add one-inch ginger and green chilli. Grind to a coarse paste.

Now add whole cumin and green chillies to the paste. Add salt and baking soda hing in the batter. Beat well.

Heat oil fry the balls in a medium flame. Take them out in a plate. Add green chutney and sliced onion chat masala.

For chutney In a mixer jar put green tomato, 5-6 garlic cloves,salt, lemon juice, curry leaves, 1/2 inch ginger and green chilli blend it make a thick chutney.
