Soak the toor dal, masoor dal, chana dal, urad dal, barley, black eye lobia, Bengal gram, raw rice, moong dal, barley for maximum 2 hours.

Grind them coarsely and add shredded cabbage, rice flour, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, chopped onions, green chillies and mix well.

Heat oil in a kadhai and make the vada from the mixture and drop into the oil. Deep fry until they turn crisp and golden brown. Finally, sprinkle coriander powder on top of them and serve.
