Mango cake

#SIWMango cake recipe:-
For sponge base:-
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup amul milk powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup mango puree
1/4 cup oil/butter
1 tsp vanilla essence

For icing:-
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup castor sugar

For sugar syrup:-
1 tbsp sugar water
1/4 cup

For decoration
1 mango thinly sliced

Process:-
1) In a bowl add sugar and butter. Beat until soft and fluffy.
2) Add mango puree, milk and vanilla essence. Mix well.
3) Sieve flour, baking powder and baking soda and add it to mixture.Mix in only one direction.
4) Add milk powder and mix well.
5) Grease the baking tin with some butter and flour.
6) Pour the mixture into the tin and bake the cake at 180°C for 30 mins in preheated oven.

For icing:-
1) mix sugar and water to make the sugar syrup.
2) Take the heavy cream into a bowl. Add castor sugar.
3) Whip the cream until stiff peaks are formed.
4) Cut the cake into 2 layers.
5) Spread some sugar syrup on lower layer. Now spread the whipped cream and small chunks of mango.
6) Place the upper layer and cover the cake with cream.
7) Place the thin slices of mangoes on the top cake. The mango slices should overlap each other so that they take the shape of rose.
8) And now the cake is ready to eat!!
