Baked Chili Pepper Pakora

#flavour4 - One can't resist the temptation of deep fried pakoras. However, there is always a guilt attached while enjoying them. A healthy alternative to deep fried pakoras is baking them (either oil free or with minimal oil). They come out as crispy as their deep fried counterparts and are equally yummy as well.
So I baked these chili pepper pakoras that you should definitely try out. In fact, they are very easy to prepare and are completely hassle free. These crispy treats are just perfect with your evening cuppa. These healthy monsoon delight goes absolutely well as an appetizer with any chutney, sauce, hummus or any kind of dip of your preference.

Steps

Combine all the ingredients (except oil). Add very little water & make a
thick sticky batter. Cover & keep aside for 15 minutes. - 2
Grease a baking tray & put dollops of the batter. Drizzle few drops of oil
on each of them. - 3
Bake at 180 degrees C. in a preheated oven for 10 minutes. Flip them over
& bake again for 10 minutes more. Then grill them for 8-10 minutes on both
sides till slightly browned & crisp. - 4
Serve as a tea time snack or as an appetizer with chutney, sauce, hummus or any kind of dip of your preference..
